NOTICE!!                WILD PLUMS         (NOTICE) The plums are all gone for this year)

After no crop of wild plums in 2006, we had a bumper crop of good wild plums in 2007.

The wild plum trees grow wild all along the county roads and are free for the taking.

They will begin to ripen around July so you have a few weeks left to get out and pick some for yourself.

I  put up about 50 pints of my wild plum jelly last year. I give a lot of it away to friends.

 I am including a link to my special recipe for wild plum jelly if you would like to try some.

It is not very hard. Anyone can do it.
